HCPL-316J is an intelligent gate drive optocoupler with the following main functions:
High-power IGBT drive
It can drive IGBTs up to 150A/1200V, with a maximum peak output current of 2.5A, meeting the drive requirements of high-power IGBTs.
Optical isolation
It realizes the electrical isolation between the input and output sides through optical coupling technology, with a high isolation voltage, which can effectively prevent electrical interference and improve the safety and stability of the system.
Fault status feedback
It has an integrated desaturation (VCE) detection circuit. When the collector-emitter saturation voltage of the IGBT exceeds a certain threshold, it can quickly detect and output a fault signal to prompt the user to take corresponding measures.
“Soft” shutdown of IGBT
It adopts soft shutdown technology to avoid generating large current and voltage spikes during the shutdown process of the IGBT, reducing device stress and improving device reliability.
Undervoltage lockout protection
It has undervoltage lockout protection (UVLO) with hysteresis. When the power supply voltage is lower than a certain value, the output is locked to prevent the IGBT from operating under abnormal voltage conditions.
Wide operating voltage range
It has a wide operating voltage range of 15V to 30V, which can adapt to different power supply environments.
Wide temperature range
It can work in the temperature range of -40°C to 100°C, meeting the needs of various harsh working environments.
